No. TontonTools runs entirely from the technician's workstation. No agent. No server-side component. No firewall changes beyond what your tech's workstation already needs to reach SCCM, AD and Microsoft Graph.

Will TontonTools work in my air-gapped environment?

Accepted Answer

Partially. License validation requires occasional internet access to api.lemonsqueezy.com — but we cache the validation for 7 days plus an additional 7-day grace period. So a licensed workstation can run offline for up to 14 days at a time. For permanent air-gap, contact us for an offline activation flow (Enterprise tier only).

Can multiple technicians share one license?

Each license activates a specific number of workstations (3 for Essentials, 10 for Pro, unlimited for Enterprise). Multiple technicians can use the same physical workstation under the same license. You don't track named users — you track workstations.

How do I access my customer account?

Accepted Answer

Account management is fully handled by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. Go to /account and click "Open my customer portal", or use the link in any of your purchase confirmation emails. You will receive a magic link by email to sign in — no password needed.

How do I view my license keys?

Accepted Answer

Sign in to your Lemon Squeezy customer portal. Your license keys are listed under "My Licenses", along with the activation status of each seat (which machines they are bound to). You can copy a key at any time and paste it into the TontonTools activation dialog.

How do I revoke an activation when a technician leaves?

In your Lemon Squeezy customer portal, open "My Licenses", select the relevant license, and click "Manage activations". You'll see the list of machines currently bound to that license. Click "Deactivate" next to the machine you want to free up. The seat becomes immediately available for reassignment to a new technician.

How do I download my invoices?

All invoices are available in your Lemon Squeezy customer portal under "Orders & invoices". Each invoice can be downloaded as PDF. Because Lemon Squeezy acts as our Merchant of Record, the invoice is issued by Lemon Squeezy and is fully VAT-compliant in your country.

Can I change my billing email?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Sign in to your Lemon Squeezy customer portal, open "Account settings", and update your billing email. The change applies to all future invoices and renewal notifications. Your existing license keys and activations are not affected.

What versions of SCCM, Intune and Windows are supported?

SCCM Current Branch 2010 and later. Microsoft Intune via Graph v1.0. Windows 10 21H2+ and Windows 11. AD on Server 2016+. The desktop client itself requires .NET Framework 4.7.2 — present on all supported Windows versions.
